SYTYCD Takes Home 3 Creative Arts Emmys!

On Saturday, September 10th, The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences awarded the 2010-2011 Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Awards for programs and individual achievements at the 63rd Emmy Awards presentation at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles. So You Think You Can Dance brought home three awards: Mia Michaels won an Outstanding Choreography award, Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo won an Outstanding Choreography award, and So You Think You Can Dance won an Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction. So You Think You Can Dance Performers in Emmys® Telecast

On the 61st Primetime Emmy® Awards live telecast, So You Think You Can Dance choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo choreographed a routine that showcased reality TV show dance and included some SYTYCD alumni. Season 4’s Joshua Allen, Katee Shean, and Mark Kanemura, and Season 3’s Hok Konishi and Dominic Sandoval danced on the Nokia Theater stage.
