Did you notice a familiar So You Think You Can Dance face on Fox’s Glee last night? You’re right! That was Season 4 contestant and Season 7 all-star Mark Kanemura in the “Me Against The Music” and “Slave For You” performances on the Britney/Brittany episode of the hit show.
Stephen “tWitch” Boss first entered the public eye as a So You Think You Can Dance Season 3 hopeful who was cut right before the Top 20 was formed. Determined as ever, tWitch came back and auditioned for Season 4. He not only made the Top 20, he ended up in second place, and helped earn choreographer Mia Michaels an Emmy nomination for the memorable “Mercy” routine. You can now find the Season 7 All-Star in a number of movies including Stomp The Yard: Homecoming, which is now available on Blu-ray™ and DVD.
Once again SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE is in search of America’s favorite dance. Those who shine during auditions are given a ticket to Las Vegas for callbacks, where they will work with top choreographers to learn and then be judged on multiple styles of dance.

Soyon An designs the costumes you see season after season and week after week on So You Think You Can Dance. Whether it’s the wardrobe for a couple’s routine or a group number, Soyon is involved with creating and designing the pieces. In addition, Soyon dresses Executive Producer and Judge Nigel Lythgoe.
We wanted to know more about Nigel’s dapper finale wardrobe. Soyon said that Canali dressed him for the Season 7 finale. “We went with a classic look instead of a more casual and edgy look like Nigel had at last year’s finale. Canali was the perfect choice, and Nigel also wore Harry Winston cuff links and a diamond watch which pulled the whole look together.” Soyon also works with designers and companies like Richard Skinny Jeans, Dena Bar-El, Sue Wong, Hugo Boss, Nike, Reebok, Katrina Dancewear, and fabrics by International Silks & Woolens.

Did everyone have a good Labor Day weekend? Your favorite dancers sure did! The SYTYCD Tour dancers, along with host Cat Deeley, took over Six Flags Magic Mountain in Southern California for the So You Think You Can Dance 2010 Tour Launch Party on Friday, September 3, 2010. The park was closed especially for the dancers who are about to embark on a 40-city tour which kicks off on September 19 in New Orleans.
Artist Christina Perri got her big break on Season 7 of So You Think You Can Dance when Billy Bell and All-Star Kathryn McCormick danced a Contemporary piece by Stacey Tookey to her song, “Jar of Hearts.” After the song aired on June 30th, fans responded extremely well to the song and flocked to iTunes. The unsigned singer suddenly sold over 100,000 copies of “Jar of Hearts,” performed on talk shows, and was invited back on So You Think You Can Dance to perform the song during the Top 7 results show. During this performance, Christina was joined by All-Stars Allison Holker and Neil Haskell in a piece choreographed by SYTYCD Executive Producer Jeff Thacker.
