One of my favorites was the one Mia michaels picked, the contempery routine about his best friend stabbing him in the back. He was so amazing and believable. I could tell he wasn’t just doing the steps, but that he was really emotionally invested in the routine. Another great one from Kent was the contempery peice him and Lauren danced where they kissed. That one felt so real, it brought tears to my eyes. I love kents dancing, personality, and stage presence. I can’t wait to see him in grand prarie.

Out of the two, my favorite was definitely his contemporary with Lauren. But my all-time favorie Kent routine is his contemporary piece with Neil (both choreographed by Travis Wall, actually). There’s so much honesty in both of these pieces that pulls at my heartstrings… it’s incredible.

Are you kidding? EVERY Kent Boyd routine was my favorite. The Travis Wall piece I would probably choose, but seriously, that walking Layout in Tyce’s number – Killer. BUT Stacey Tookey’s routine from the Finale that he did was BY FAR the best of the season.

I love so many of Kent’s routines, but I’d have to say that the one with Allison choreographed by Stacey Tookey was my favorite. The piece itself was wonderful, of course, but what really clinched it for me was how in character Kent was, and how emotionally affected he was. I was just so happy for him when Adam Shankman said, “You don’t need this show,” because I agree wholeheartedly. I mean, he’s Kent-freaking-Boyd, after all.
