The Top 10 say good-bye to Alexie

Season 7 Finalist Alexie Agdeppa, a Jazz dancer from Rowland Heights, CA, was eliminated on Thursday’s So You Think You Can Dance. After America’s vote was revealed, Alexie, Cristina Santana, and Melinda Sullivan were the three dancers who received the fewest votes. Judges Nigel Lythgoe, Mia Michaels, and Adam Shankman asked the three finalists to perform a solo routine and then eliminated Alexie.

After the Top 11 dancers found out they were on Season 7 of So You Think You Can Dance, they moved to Los Angeles and took part in a press day of photos and interviews. We caught up with each dancer and they opened up about how they’re feeling, what they’re nervous about, and what they want the fans to know about them.

Justin Bieber, "Somebody to Love"

Tune in for the first results show of the season this Thursday at 9/8c on FOX. During the hour-long show we will be treated to the broadcast premiere of pop sensation Justin Bieber’s new music video, “Somebody To Love,” featuring Usher. Justin is very excited about the premier of the music video and announced via Twitter, “Wanna see the World Premiere of ‘SOMEBODY TO LOVE’ feat Usher??? Watch SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE on Thursday night….Spread the word!!!” Usher will also perform his hit song “OMG,” and there will be an exciting specialty dance performance from Karine Plantadit & Keith Roberts. At the end of the night, we’ll say goodbye to the first eliminated dancer of Season 7. You won’t want to miss out!

How do I vote?
Each contestant will be assigned a toll-free telephone number during the performance shows.    To vote, simply watch “So You Think You Can Dance” on FOX each week (see local listings for details) and dial the telephone number of the contestant(s) for whom you wish to vote.  Voting will open at the end of each performance show.  DO NOT call before the end of the show as the lines will not be open.  The results of the vote will be revealed in the results shows that will also air on FOX later the same week (see local listings for details). Season 7 Top 11

After thousands of auditions featuring some of the best dancers ever to try out, the judges of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE announced that Season Seven will have 11 finalists instead of 10. The Top 11 finalists are Alexie Agdeppa, Billy Bell, Kent Boyd, Lauren Froderman, Ashley Galvan, Robert Roldan, Jose Ruiz, Cristina Santana, Melinda Sullivan, Adéchiké Torbert and Alex Wong.
