…and that dancer is COMFORT!
This morning, Nigel Lythgoe tweeted:
Season 4’s Comfort Fedoke had a wild ride on So You Think You Can Dance. She auditioned with two of her brothers and Season 4’s eventual winner, Joshua Allen. First, Comfort was paired with Chris Jarosz, and then he was eliminated so she was partnered by Thayne Jasperson. During the results show that determined who the Top 10 finalists would be, Comfort was eliminated. However, she was brought back to the competition the following week when Jessica King had to leave due to a rib injury. That week, Comfort was matched with Twitch (another Season 7 All-Star) for one of the season’s most memorable performances: “Forever” choreographed by Dave Scott. Comfort ended up making it to the Top 8 week before leaving the competition for good.
What has Comfort been up to lately? You may have seen her in the music videos for T-Pain’s “Freeze” or Ludacris’ “What Them Girls Like.” She also starred in a Korean music video which was choreographed by SYTYCD choreographer Brian Friedman. In addition, Comfort, along with Season 4’s Katee Shean and Kherington Payne, appeared in the “Bootylicious” number in GLEE’s “Hairography” episode.
Put four fingers on your shoulder and welcome back Comfort!
