Today, Nigel Lythgoe revealed the second female All-Star on Season 7’s So You Think You Can Dance: ALLISON!
Nigel tweeted:
I am delighted to say that @allisonholker is a #SYTYCD “All-Star.” From Season#2 she will represent Jazz, Contemporary, Broadway & Cultural.
Allison Holker was one of the strongest dancers on Season 2, and she had a memorable partnership with Ivan Koumaev. She came to the show after appearing in High School Musical and High School Musical 2. While on Season 2, Allison was one of the dancers in Wade Robson’s Emmy Award winning dance, “Ramalama.” As a result, Allison returned to the So You Think You Can Dance stage during Season 5 to perform “Ramalama” again with her fellow Season 2 finalists. Since her time as a Season 2 finalist, Allison became a mother to a baby girl named Weslie in 2008.
